CSSA Secondary State Athletics 2024

Venue: Sydney Olympic Park Athletics Centre - Olympic Boulevard, Sydney Olympic Park NSW 2127

Meet Manager Zone Entries

• Students that placed 1st, 2nd & 3rd at zone for TRACK (except 1500m) events automatically progress through to STATE

• Students that placed 1st & 2nd at zone for FIELD events automatically progress through to STATE

• Students that placed 3rd at zone for FIELD events need to achieve the qualifying height/distance to progress through to STATE

• High Jump Event - 1st & 2nd Zone qualifiers MUST achieve the Starting Height to compete at STATE

• 1500m event - all competitors MUST meet the qualifying time for the 1500m to compete at STATE

Zone Convenors need to ADVANCE the top 3 competitors for ALL events & then delete any 3rd place field competitor, High Jump & 1500m runners that HAVE NOT achieved the qualifying height/distance

Spikes + Starting Blocks - SOPAC ruling

Competitors MUST use starting blocks if they are wearing spikes in the 100m & 200m track events

3000m:          12-14 yrs, 15-16 yrs, 17-19 yrs
